IGM is a community choir. IGM was started in 2007 in Boston. A group of families who love to sing got together and decided we could serve the Lord with their talents and IGM was born.  IGM spread its wings to India in 2014 and Richmond in 2019. IGM draws singers and supporters from the city and the neighboring areas thus making a unique contribution to the cultural life in the local area. IGM singers’ range in age from 8 to over 60 with diverse musical backgrounds and talents from professional to amateur. The quality of IGM concerts springs from a single common bond shared by all of its members - a love of singing and sharing great works of art with community audiences. In two concert series each year, IGM presents choral works from the Renaissance to the 20th century including major works by Handel as well as more contemporary composers. No two concerts are alike, and they represent musical offerings that span hundreds of years in various languages and musical styles. Our concert performance will be accompanied by a live professional orchestra.
